Bridon International, the world leading specialist in the manufacture of wire and rope solutions for the most demanding applications, has ordered a range of HDS door products for its new factory on Neptune Energy Park, walker, Newcastle upon Tyne. These include several Speedor Maxis, the large version of the well-known Speedor range of automatic, high-speed doors, several steel doors and aluminium insulated roller shutters.

Nick Hart, Hart’s technical director, says the range of doors required was to enhance the thermal performance of Bridon’s factory in order to meet today’s exacting requirements for energy efficiency as well as allowing Bridon to maintain the internal building temperature with in precise tolerances, critical for the manufacturing process.

Bridon products provide solutions to the most arduous and technically demanding challenges, extensively used in construction, mining, oil & gas extraction, telecommunications and other specialised areas of engineering, markets where there can be no compromise over product performance and integrity.
