Working through Clegg Food Projects, Hart Door Systems’ installation at Adams Foods new facility at Leek, Staffordshire, is an excellent example of the range of doors available through this specialist engineering company.

Hart Door Systems (HDS) has manufactured and installed over 30 doors in the new Adams Foods production building ranging from high-speed Speedors to fire shutters, insulated shutters including two fast-action shutters and also a specifically HDS manufactured high-lift door, all designed to complement to production of powdered milk products.

Alan Richardson, contracts manager at HDS, says the food production sector requires high standards of door systems to ensure air quality is not compromised. “Hygiene is upper most as a priority so door systems have to be effective and fast-acting from the goods-in goods out part of the plant throughout the production process,” says Mr. Richardson.

Hart has a tradition for innovative engineering and offers a bespoke door design systems including prototyping, testing and third part certification. Its doors are also used for energy conservation, fire prevention and security all with unique features and options to cover any specification requirements.

High-profile projects also include the 2012 Olmypics' stadium, Heathrow's Terminal 5 and the Dubai Metro.
