The forthcoming 2012 Olympics are drawing nearer and we are very proud to be a part of this special occasion. Hart were chosen out of a possible 50 plus door companies by Sir Robert McAlpine to supply all of the roller shutters to the Olympic main stadium. Prior to the award we assisted Sir Robert McAlpine with the specification and operation of the shutters with safety and continuity in mind for this all important venue.

The North Tyneside plant of Isoclad has several Hart Door Systems’ high-speed doors within its large West Chirton Industrial Estate building.

TSL Projects is a high care construction company with considerable expertise and experience in delivering projects within the sensitive environments of the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage industries. Working for Ahlstrom, Chirnside plant TSL selected the Hart Door Systems package for speedor automatic, roller shutters, fire shutters and hinged steel door package for quality, price and delivery. This completed contract was on time on budget.

Dubai Metro Hart Door Systems has won an export order so far for 155 multiple industrial roller shutters for Dubai Metro, United Arab Emirates, scheduled to be one of the most advanced urban rail systems in the world.

Hart Door Systems’ Speedors are in frequent action at the Prudhoe, Northumberland, plant of SCA Hygiene Products where dust from the manufacture of personal care products needs to be contained in the large production areas.

Hart continue to form a close working relationship with Laing O’Rourke in various parts of the country. We were recently involved in installing HDS products in three major construction projects in the UK:

At St. Pancras, two main areas have Hart fire shutters and standard roller shutters, the services area and the main retail area.

Hart Door Systems has installed a number of its automatic, high-speed Speedors in a new facility just opened at the Browns 2000 180,000 sq ft factory at Cramlington, Northumberland.

Hart Door Systems has been active in the Middle East over a wide spectrum of clients both commercial and industrial. In Dubai HDS work with AL-Futtaim group whom actively promote all Hart's Speedor and fire and security products.

At Heathrow, Hart Door Systems has installed over 50 high-speed smoke/fire doors. Just 2m wide x 1.5m high, these special Speedor doors are high-speed in operation and provide a seal for 30 minutes in the event of fire.

Hart continue to forge a strong relationship with Edilsystems who are a suppliers of industrial doors and fire protection equipment to various projects predominately in Italy, where they are based.

The latest international order comes from Bermuda. The order consists of one Speedor to be manufactured and shipped over to Bermuda and is to be installed in combination with a roller shutter to one of the Emission testing buildings.

Hart Door Systems has boosted the international presence of the Speedor range further, with two Speedor Minis being installed at Sayga Flour Mills in Khartoum, Sudan.
