Heathrow T5 project for forty eight number check-in desks. This unique design was developed for Vanderlande conveyors combining  features from other products namely fire, security and high speed automatic operation.

The specification called for the door to open in one second, interface between the desk and the conveyor, provide remote signalling of status and the entire assembly to be delivered as a free standing unit, this was then fitted to a conveyor providing fire and smoke certified for 60 minutes. The prototype was tested to 3 million operations with service plan and manuals supporting this minimum life. This was all to independant certification by third party.
